Otorhinolaryngology
The first instruments created by Karl Storz in 1945 were for otorhinolaryngology and this field still occupies a prominent position in the company’s product portfolio. Today, approximately 6000 different instruments are on offer, comprising rigid endoscopes in various sizes, flexible fiberscopes and video endoscopes as well as motor systems. An extensive product range for skull base surgery, pituitary gland surgery and otoneurosurgery is also available.

The new HD video rhino-laryngoscope from KARL STORZ allows visualization of the nose, pharynx and larynx in HD image quality. Depending on the system configuration, the physician is able to use IMAGE1 S™ visualization modes or perform stroboscopy. This makes the flexible endoscope suitable for various indications.

The new 2.9 mm CMOS video rhino-laryngoscope further expands the existing CMOS product line. The 2.9 mm video rhino-laryngoscope is particularly suitable for cramped or tight anatomical conditions. Combined with the light and mobile universal monitor, the instrument offers a fast and convenient solution.
