Proctologie

La rectoscopie et la proctoscopie sont des méthodes diagnostiques et thérapeutiques reconnues en matière de pathologies rectales. La combinaison avec des technologies vidéo-endoscopiques fournit une visualisation de qualité et une documentation exhaustive des résultats tout en contribuant à étendre le spectre d'indications à des interventions mini-invasives complexes, comme la chirurgie transanale du rectum.

Dans le cadre de ces indications, les établissements KARL STORZ proposent pour l'hôpital et le cabinet médical, une large gamme de produits allant des instruments pour les biopsies rectales et l'ablation de polypes aux sets d'instruments vidéo-endoscopiques dédiés à la microchirurgie transanale endoscopique (MET) en passant par le traitement vidéo-assisté des fistules anales (VAAFT).

La maladie du sinus pilonidal est une affection aiguë ou chronique du tissu graisseux sous-cutané, principalement dans la région du coccyx1. Le traitement endoscopique du kyste pilonidal (E.P.Si.T. – Endoscopic Pilonidal Sinus Treatment) se déroule en deux temps. Une première phase – diagnostique – sert à examiner la cavité ainsi que les voies sinusales. La seconde phase –thérapeutique – permet de procéder à l’ablation de l’abcès et la fermeture des canaux fistulaires2. Les deux phases se déroulent sous contrôle endoscopique direct.

Traitement vidéo-assisté des fistules anales

La technique VAAFT est utilisée pour le traitement chirurgical de fistules anales complexes et de récidives. La technique se déroule en deux temps : la phase diagnostique consiste à examiner le conduit fistulaire et à identifier l’ouverture de la fistule tandis que la phase opératoire a pour but de détruire l’épithélium fistulaire. Les deux étapes du traitement s’effectuent sous contrôle endoscopique direct.
