يعد تنظير المستقيم وتنظير الشرج طريقتين راسختين لتشخيص وعلاج أمراض المستقيم. ويتيح الجمع بين تقنيات التنظير الداخلي بالفيديو إظهارًا جيدًا للغاية وتوثيقًا واضحًا للنتائج ويعمل على توسيع نطاق الاستخدام في التدخلات الجراحية الصغيرة المعقدة، مثل جراحة المستقيم عبر الشرج.

E.P.Si.T. – علاج الجيب الشعريّ بالتنظير الداخلي
الجيب الشعري هو التهاب حاد أو مزمن في الأنسجة الدهنية تحت الجلد، ويحدث غالباً في منطقة العصعص1. علاج الجيب الشعريّ بالتنظير الداخلي (E.P.Si.T.) – علاج الجيب الشعريّ بالتنظير الداخلي – ويجري على مرحلتين. في المرحلة الأولى – التشخيصية – يجري فحص تجويف الجيب وكذلك المسالك الجيبية. أما في المرحلة الثانية - العلاجية - فيجرى استئصال التجويف المصاب بالخراج ومن ثم طمس مسالك الناسور2. ويتم إجراء كلا المرحلتين من خلال المراقبة المباشرة بالمنظار الداخلي.

- يمكن إجراء علاج الجيب الشعريّ بالتنظير الداخلي (E.P.Si.T.) بالعيادة الخارجية
- يتم تنظيف التجويف المصاب بالخراج وكذلك طمس مسالك الناسور تحت الرؤية المباشرة

المعالجة المدعمة بالفيديو للنواسير في منطقة الشرج
تلائم تقنية VAAFT المعالجة الجراحية للنواسير الشرجية المعقدة والانتكاسات على حد سواء. تقنية V.A.A.F.T - معالجة الناسور الشرجي بمساعدة الفيديو - معالجة على مرحلتين. في المرحلة الأولى - وهي تشخيصية - يُفحص مجرى الناسور ويُحدد مكان فتحة الناسور الداخلية. أما في المرحلة الثانية - العلاجية - يُتخلص بشكلٍ كامل من النسيج الطلائي للناسور. ويتم إجراء كلا المرحلتين تحت المراقبة المباشرة بالمنظار الداخلي.
