– Arterial bleeding (ethmoidal, sphenopalatine and maxillary arteries, turbinate and septum vessels etc.)
– Skull base surgery (extradural)
– Oozing hemorrhage from the edges of the mucosa
– Vascular processes, e.g., nasopharynx fibroma
– Epistaxis
– Secondary hemorrhage, e.g., from adenotomes in the nasopharynx
– Edema prevention, shrinkage of mucosa (e.g., posterior end of the turbinate)
– Turbinate cauterization

• Integrated suction channel
• Completely insulated with the exception of small coagulation surfaces at the tip of the instrument
• Two instrument heads: Angled 15° and 45° to the instrument sheath
