Berlin Visitor and Training Center

A contemporary dialog platform

With the conversion and restoration of the former Empress Augusta Hospital in 2013, the family-run company has strengthened its presence in Berlin. Simultaneously, the building offers existing and potential customers a high quality venue for holding conferences, meetings, and endoscopy training events.

The historic charm of the Empress Augusta Hospital, which was founded in 1869, was preserved in the context of the conversion and expertly expanded with modern elements. The former hospital has become a KARL STORZ location, housing offices and a modern visitor and training centre in a central location (Berlin-Mitte).

As in the past, the building is used to benefit medical science and patients. In this way, history has not only been preserved but is given a future.

The building is available as a meeting place to medical practitioners and organizers of continuing education events for holding lectures, live surgeries, and endoscopic training sessions using innovative KARL STORZ equipment – a dialog platform for customers, partners, and employees from Germany as well as for international guests.

The doors of the KARL STORZ Visitor and Training Centre are also open to non-medical events, offering visitors the convenience of a modern event location.
