Office Hysteroscopy – Identification of the Squamocolumnar Junction (SCJ)

  • Endocervicoscopy is indicated in patients with suspected endocervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
  • By definition these are patients with T-zone type 3 and an abnormal smear or ECC.
  • Treatment is not determined based on morphometric rules but on morphologic findings in the individual patient.
  • Thus, individualized treatment is possible.
