The ‘rag sign’ shown in this atypical T zone type 2 of a 36-year-old patient is less pronounced and less obvious, demonstrating erosions right underneath the cotton-tipped swab at the entrance to the cervical canal between 11 and 1 o’clock. The lesion, diagnosed as major change, was histopathologically confirmed to be CIN 3.
