UV Videoscope
KARL STORZ presents as first enterprise a powerful 8 mm UV-videoscope.
The main field of application are proofs with fluorescenting vanishes, waxes and liquids for corrosion preventions. More applications are always possible because of the bright UV radiance.

The common using with an additional light conductor is replaced by an integrated powerful crystal fibre. This was necessary because of the poor transmission and the small field of view. All applications can now be served.
Competitors especially Olympus and GE EverestVIT tried to sell for those applications a videoscope with a separate light conductor. In fact the constricted handling and bad image brightness could not persuade.
The new UV videoscope is however nearly a normal videoscope, that works in UVA 320 nm until 400 nm wave range, but also in white light mode.
The vidoesocpe needs to be connected to an Lumatec UV lightsource. This UV lightsource can change between UVA and White light. Working with TECHNO PACK™ X is no problem.
