UV - Borescopes by KARL STORZ
UV - Borescopes are principally used in research and development fields where combustion processes are inspected. For this purpose, UV - borescopes are compressed air cooled. The compressed air flows out of the distal end and can be used for cooling further components such as protective windows. In addition, the distal end of the shaft is gold plated for the purpose of decreasing heat radiation by reflection.
With UV - borescopes special chemical reactions in combustion processes can by examined. For example, the production of NO and OH radicals causes the disposal of UV - rays (e.g. at 306 nm). This reaction can be demonstrated with the use of UV borescopes.
Use of our endoscopes is applied also in the model making it able to foresee prospects.
Cooled channel endoscope
Do you need to work with an endoscope at temperatures over 800° C? Our endoscope with a closed or open cooling circuit makes it possible. We offer various diameters and lines of vision.

Control of empty spaces: In the search for hidden goods, explosives, weapons etc. a variety of endoscopes from our company can be used. According to the individual requirements, rigid, small diameter for compact spaces (bags/boxes) or flexible video-endoscopes with large diameters for illuminating large spaces (large boxes etc.) can be employed.
Surveillance: Here too, there are many possibilities with our mobile systems.
