Multi-Retractor acc. to SCHÖLLHORN – The Modular Retractor System for Cardiac Surgery
The Multi-Retractor acc. to SCHÖLLHORN is one system which can be used for five operating techniques:
- Standard Retractor
- RIMA (Right Internal Mammaria Artery) and LIMA (Left Internal Mammaria Artery) Retractor
- OPCAB (Off Pump Coronary Artery Bypass) Retractor
- MIDCAB (Minimal Invasive Direct Coronary Artery Bypass) Retractor
- Mitral Valve Retractor
Special benefits:
- Valves are available in three different sizes: each 3 cm, 4 cm or 5 cm long and 4 cm wide. All valves are adjustable to any position and are freely rotatable. Using only one pair of valves makes the system suitable for mini-thoracotomy and mini-sternotomy.
- The IMA extension can be applied in mirror position, for dissection of left and right IMA.
- The Mitral Valve Retractor offers an ideal exposition, due to the infinitely variable fixation possibilities of the Atrium Hooks which are available with a length of 4 cm and 5 cm.
- The stabilizer arm beating heart surgery stabilizes the target region by a slight compression. It is fixable in every position.
- In-situ light with a fiberopitic light carrier. Thanks to a universal holding device, the fiberoptic light carrier can be attached to all cardiothoracic retractors
All components of the KARL STORZ Multi-Retractor acc. to SCHÖLLHORN are autoclavable at 134°C.
