In cruciate ligament surgery, tunnel management depends on various factors, in particular on the type of technique selected for fixation of the graft.

If using an interference screw for fixation near the joint, the preparation of the femoral tunnel is often crucial for a stable and anatomically correct fixation of the graft.

In collaboration with Jörg Richter M.D. (Orthopedic Clinic Markgröningen), we developed a new drill and dilation system for preparing the tunnels such that the graft can be safely and easily fastened with interference screws.
