Endoscopy in Wind Power
The rapid development of wind power generation has ongoing complex maintenance requirements. It has been detected at an early stage that the usual long time requirement for gear inspection can be minimized by using Videoscopes.
Also the latest efforts to establish a CMS (Condition Monitoring System) showed that both possibilities complement each other.
KARL STORZ offers 3,8mm and 6mm Videoscopes with different diameters for control of gears. Equipped with different interchangeable lenses the Videoscopes allow an exact examination of gears and bearings.
In combination with our small TECHNO PACK® X unit the user receives significant pictures of high light intensity that can be used e.g. for expert evaluation
