DOCUMENTATION
VITOM® SPINE provides excellent depth of field, magnification, contrast and color reproduction - which are the perfect prerequisites for FULL HD display and recording.
2. Ergonomics
Different from an endoscope, VITOM® SPINE telescope is not inserted into the body but is placed with a working distance of 25 to 60 cm above the surgical field, giving the surgeon plenty of working space. VITOM® SPINE is thereby held by a mechanical or pneumatic holding device.
Due to the slim and compact design of VITOM® SPINE, the surgical field is not blocked and even long instruments can be used with ease. The excellent enlarged image can be observed from convenient distance by the surgeon and the assistant as well as the entire OR team, using a FULL HD monitor.
The pneumatic POINT SETTER holding arm is especially recommended as it combines perfect safety with comfortable 1-hand operation.
3. Training and Education
Also during hospitations and trainings of residents, students and other visitors – VITOM® SPINE is useful, as the visualization of the surgical field is not obstructed by the surgeon or the OR staff. VITOM® SPINE can be introduced easily without disturbing the procedure and provides outstanding visualization to all attendees.
4. Documentation
The Full HD digital signal can be copied lossless, transmitted, stored, retrieved, annotated, etc. with the KARL STORZ AIDA® Compact HD.
