With the surgical microscope the surgeon always has a perfect view on the operating field. However, assistants, nurses and students are suffering from a poor video presentation.
KARL STORZ is offering a 1-stop-shop solution to upgrade any surgical microscopes with state of the art FULL HD documentation capability. Thereby all parts in the video chain – from the camera system to the monitor – must provide outstanding performance.
The new QUINTUS™ TV-Adapter is especially designed to cope with this requirement and acts as the perfect interface between the surgical microscope and the KARL STORZ H3-M FULL HD Microscope Camera Head.
The innovative features of the QUINTUS™ are easy to control and make it the most flexible TV-Adapter available in the market.
QUINTUS™ stands for 5 main features and benefits:
- Rotating C-MOUNT clutch: The C-MOUNT interface has a rotatable clutch that permits immediate adaption of the camera orientation during mounting.
- Focus control: allows easy adjusting of the camera focus for razor sharp images at both, the microscope and the monitor (parfocality).
- Iris control: provides a comfortable way to enhance the depth of field of the camera image.
- Pan control: gives full control over the horizontal position of the camera image.
- Tilt function: gives full control over the vertical position of the camera image. With Pan and Tilt, the camera view can be adapted to the preference of the surgeon.
The QUINTUS TV Adapter is available in three focal lengths 45 mm, 55 mm and 70 mm for surgical microscopes of the main manufacturers.
