Obesity Surgery Set acc. to CADIÈRE
Nowadays the treatment of morbid obesity has become part of the day-to-day clinical routine due to the fact that up to now efficient results in the long term can only be achieved by an operation.
As a supplier of minimal invasive solutions KARL STORZ is proud to present the Obesity Surgery Set which has been developed together with Prof. G. B. Cadière. Interventions like gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy or a gastric bypass can be accomplished in a patient-friendly way: The laparoscopic technique of the different procedures leads to a minimized trauma of the patients, the risk of incisional hernias is reduced as is the emergence of adhesions and the obstruction of bowels. Compared to the open technique the results can be improved using minimal invasive methods.
Not only the needs of patients are met with our instrument set, but those of the surgeon as well: the ergonomic design allows the operator to work comfortably in a non-fatigue position and due to the markings on the instrument's tip he can take exact measurements during the procedure – sometimes it's the small things that matters!
