The common goal of all treatment methods is the creation of a biologically sound, well-vascularized – and thereby vital – implant site, which allows the correct positioning of the implant and the best support of adjacent soft tissues, with the aim of providing an esthetically sophisticated final result. Therefore it might be necessary to enforce an alveolar ridge augmentation.
The HANNOVER Set for Alveolar Ridge Augmentation contains all relevant instruments for this type of operation.
Besides standard instruments, the BORMANN positioning instrument and the GELLRICH bone preparation block need to be pointed out.
The latter allows the secure fixing and preparation of bone grafts, including, e.g., the smoothing of sides or the preparation of gliding holes while simultaneously reducing the risk of injury to the surgeon. Simple removal of the coolant is guaranteed by the groove cut into the base plate.
The three-toothed support of the BORMANN positioning instrument enables the secure stabilization of the graft on uneven surfaces.
