VITOM® 25 System – Unique Extracorporeal Visualization System for Surgical Procedures

The VITOM® 25 is an exoscope, which is not inserted into the body like an endoscope, but placed at a distance from 25 up to 60 cm above the surgical site, giving the surgeon plenty of workspace.

Due to the small footprint of the VITOM® 25, the system occupies very little space in the OR. Thanks to the slim and compact design, the surgical field is not blocked and even long instruments can be used with ease.

The VITOM® 25 provides superb depth of field, magnification, contrast and color reproduction, which are the perfect prerequisites for FULL HD display and recording. The excellent enlarged image can be observed from a convenient distance by the surgeon and the assistant as well as the entire OR team, using a FULL HD monitor.

The VITOM® 25 System has proven to be useful in various surgical specialities as an alternative to OR-light cameras, loupes and surgical microscopes. Also during teachings and training of residents and students the system is useful, as the surgical field is not obstructed by the surgeon or OR staff. The VITOM® 25 can be introduced easily without disturbing the procedure and provides outstanding visualization to all attendees.

The VITOM® 25 has an integrated illumination, which can be enhanced by an optional Illuminator.

The system can be combined with existing endoscopy equipment. For example our KARL STORZ FULL HD Endoscopy Imaging Solution can be used easily with the VITOM® 25 Exoscope System.
