Neuroendoscopy in the Management of Hydrocephalus – GAAB Neuroendoscopy Set
The new modified system of the GAAB neuroendoscopy set offers a versatile and multi-functional tool for a variety of pathologies.
The set contains diagnosis HOPKINS® rod-lens telescopes with various viewing angles (30°, 45°, 70°) which guarantee an excellent intraoperative visualization. The big working channel offers the possibility to use straight, robust instruments (with a diameter of 2.7 mm) but also bimanual semi-rigid instrumentation. Furthermore a fiberscope can be passed trough the working channel.
The GAAB neuroendoscopy set is a very stable system which can be used very well with a holding system so that double-hand manoeuvrability is enabled. It also offers the opportunity to use an optical obturator which allows the positioning of the operating sheath under visual control. Another important feature is that it can be combined with neuronavigation.
