At KARL STORZ it is YOU who chooses how your apparatus is repaired.
All our articles are repaired entirely individually. This is to your advantage because only actually faulty parts are replaced. If you wish we can provide a quotation before the actual repair or to save time we can repair your apparatus as soon as we receive it.
Repairs with quotation:
Please would you approve the quotations as rapidly as possible after you receive it so that we can begin repairs immediately. If you decide not to have your faulty apparatus repaired, then there is a processing charge of 70 EUR plus VAT to be paid by you. In such a case, please ask about new apparatus, we will be pleased to advise you and try to help you as rapidly as possible.
Repairs without quotation:
Please remember that the request for a quotation means a longer repair time than the direct approval. Save time! We guarantee you accurately calculated fair prices and fast service.
Repair of faulty instruments is carried out solely by personnel authorised by us and using original parts. After repair you will get back your own as-new apparatus with your serial number on it. In some cases apparatus can be loaned for the duration of the repair.

Please note: A faulty borescope can still transfer image data and must not necessarily be completely „dark“. Then for instance the image is faint and cloudy or the field of vision is partially cut off and no longer circular. In such cases, the borescope must be sent in for repair immediately to avoid greater damage.
Please note: On request we can draw up a repair program specific to your repair requirements. Either with unit prices for repairs or as a service contract with planned charges. Please ask for further information.
