Precautionary measures
- Please note: The product should not be operated in areas at risk from explosion. Sole exception: articles approved by KARL STORZ.
- Danger of electric shock! If it touches live parts, the borescope may be live. Do not touch the live parts of the borescope.
- Danger of blindness! Never look into the open end of a light guide.
- Please note: No special measures are required for disposal. Comply with state-specific safety instructions /laws.
- Please note: Damage to the lens system which occurs as a result of incorrect use, is not covered by the guarantee.
- Danger of burns! Contact with the end of the light cable connected to the cold light source can cause burns etc.
- Please note: The KARL STORZ borescope must only be used by people with a specific technical qualification and who are familiar with endoscopy technology.
- Please note: The advice given in these instructions is solely for correct handling. It is not suitable as an introduction to endoscopy technology.
- Danger of breakage! To avoid breakage, the borescope must always be held by the eyepiece part, never solely by the distal end.
- Danger of breakage! Hard knocks, especially on the distal end can lead to damage to the distal lens system or image guide.
- Please note: Borescopes can be used at temperatures of up to 150°C. However, sudden temperature changes should be avoided.
