AKI broschure of instrument preparation
The AKI (Instrument Preparation Working Group) has published its recommendations on the preparation of instruments in hospitals and dental surgeries in three brochures:
The first edition of the brochure “Proper Maintenance of Instruments” dealt solely with the preparation of surgical instruments. The 8th revised edition is now available. New chapters were added to each successive edition as instruments became increasingly complex:
