Human Resources Coordinator
Responsibilities:
Communicates HR policy information and responds to routine employee questions. Coordinates administration of company benefit plans. Facilitates new hire orientations. Coordinates workers’ compensation claims and company-required vaccinations. Plans and coordinates employee health and wellness programs. Prepares and maintains employee files assuring confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance. Administers leave of absence programs. Facilitates exit interviews, final checks and termination paperwork. Assists in the design, development and implementation of HR training programs. Provides backup to receptionist for front desk coverage.
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous work experience in an HR department desired.
- Must have general knowledge of HR principles and practices.
- Broad knowledge of MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
- Excellent customer service, problem solving, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to plan and multi-task while being attentive to details. Ability to keep strict confidences and maintain privacy.
