Presentation of the Order of the Legion of Honor

In March 2005, Dr. h. c. mult. Sybill Storz was made Knight of the Legion of Honor of the French Republic. The award was officially presented on Friday, 3.16.2007 in the Elysée palace in Paris. The French President, Jacques Chirac, personally bestowed the Order of the Legion of Honor on Dr. h. c. mult. Storz in the magnificent reception hall at the Elysée palace.

The Legion of Honor is France’s highest and most distinguished order. In acknowledgement of her services to France and her commitment to cooperation between Germany and France, Dr. h. c. mult. Storz now belongs to the small but select circle of German citizens who have received this honor.
