UV Videoscope
KARL STORZ presents a powerful 8 mm UV videoscope.
The main field of application is poofing with fluorescenting varnishes, waxes and liquids for corrosion prevention. More applications are always possible because of the bright UV radiance.
The main field of application is poofing with fluorescenting varnishes, waxes and liquids for corrosion prevention. More applications are always possible because of the bright UV radiance.
The common use with an additional light conductor is replaced by an integrated powerful crystal fiber. This was necessary because of the poor transmission and the small field of view. All applications can now be served.
Competitors, especially Olympus and GE EverestVIT, tried to sell a videoscope for those applications with a separate light conductor. In fact the constricted handling and poor image brightness did not convince.
The new UV videoscope is however nearly a normal videoscope, that works in UVA 320 nm up to 400 nm wave range, but also in white light mode.
The vidoesocpe needs to be connected to a Lumatec UV lightsource. This UV lightsource can change between UVA and white light, and is compatible with TECHNO PACK® X.
